Solar farm: transform your unused square meters into income over 20 years

Your unused land, our best raw material.

TSB Énergie designs and installs your ground-mounted photovoltaic power plants: for farmers, industrial companies, and local authorities. From 100 kWp to 10 MWp, your land becomes a source of energy and income for 30 years.

Unlike rooftop or shade structure, solar field — also called ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant or solar park — directly utilizes available land area to maximize production. Available to farmers, industrialists, communities and investors, it can operate in self-consumption, total resale or in hybrid mode with storage.

Why choose the solar field

Every euro invested in a professional photovoltaic installation generates a measurable return.

Maximum production

On the ground, the panels are oriented and tilted at the optimum angle. No architectural constraints: 10 to 20% higher yield compared to a roof.

20-year guaranteed income

The power purchase agreement fixes the buyback price at the time of signing. Your solar revenues are not dependent on fluctuations in the energy market.

Valuation of agricultural land

Unproductive or fallow land now generates a regular income per hectare, without disrupting neighboring activities.

Scalability

Adding rows, integrating a storage system, expanding power: a solar field adapts to the evolution of your needs and your land.

Simplified maintenance

Easy access for maintenance, cleaning and module replacement. No work at height, safe intervention.

Biodiversity & CSR

Sustainable plant management under the panels, ecological corridors, reduction of agricultural inputs. A concrete and measurable environmental commitment.

From the plot of land
to the operational power plant

A dedicated project manager oversees each step. Timelines are controlled, administration is managed, and commissioning is guaranteed.

Frequently Asked Questions

A solar farm becomes economically viable starting at 1 hectare. However, a 100 to 150 kWp installation can be a worthwhile option for farmers or industrial users looking to meet their own energy needs, even at 2,500 to 3,000 m². TSB Énergie assesses the exact potential of your plot during a free audit.

Yes, under certain conditions. Agrivoltaic solutions allow for continued agricultural activity under the panels (grazing, market gardening, beekeeping). For installations selling all the electricity back to the grid on agricultural land, a CDPENAF exemption is required. TSB Énergie handles these applications and is fully familiar with the applicable regulations in each department.

Feed-in tariffs are set through CRE tenders for installations larger than 500 kWp, and through an open-access scheme for smaller installations. In 2026, open-access tariffs for ground-mounted solar power plants will range from 6 to 9 cents/kWh depending on the capacity. Contact us for a precise simulation based on the tariffs in effect at the time of your project.

Timeframes vary depending on power output and location. For installations under 1 MWp: 8 to 14 months from contract signing to the first kilowatt-hour produced. For larger installations, allow 18 to 30 months, including the CRE tendering process. TSB Énergie anticipates each administrative step to minimize delays.

At the end of the installation’s lifespan, several options are available: module replacement with a new power plant (repowering), dismantling and site restoration (dismantling is generally the operator’s responsibility according to the contract), or lease extension. TSB Énergie advises you on the most suitable strategy well in advance of the expiry date.
